The CoolTop resort is located in the area of San Nicolas as well as in the Tisey reserve. For someone from the U.S., Estelí is the equivalent of the state and San Nicolas is the equivalent of a county. Like in many counties in the U.S., they share their name with the largest city. For example, the city of Los Angeles, California is located within Los Angeles country.
In the sub-pages of this page we divide up information into that which is specific to the reserve and that which is about San Nicolas. For example, discussion of the plants and animals that exist and are being protected would be discussed in the Tisey section. The San Nicolas section is about people, business and culture.
