For those looking for a long-term getaway, we offer cabinas for rent on a month-to-month basis. Each cabina is separate and secluded.

The rental includes three meals per day, laundry and maid service. The idea is that for a pre-established price you have virtually no responsibilities other than to eat, enjoy the facility and do whatever else you want. For some, that may mean write a book or develop computer software. For others, it may mean just taking a break from life and hanging out in a hammaock.

Your Cabina

Each cabina is a separate 25 foot diameter Eco-shell dome. We pride ourselves in the fact that the domes are built to blend in with the pine forest. But, there is more. Not having the typical assortment of building materials with associated connections there are no places for uninvited guests to hide and no noise from temperature changes.

The Eco-shell provides a safe and secure home for you which includes:

• Main room with couch and desk
• Mini-kitchen including refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and dining table with chairs
• Separate bedroom
• Bath with hot water shower
• Secure storage area

We also supply a hammock, an outside table and chairs, and a lot of trees where the hammock can be hung if you just want to commune with nature. Or, take a short walk to the restaurant and visit with others.

Rates

Cabinas are rented on a month-to-month basis. Included with the basic rental are three meals a day and maid service including laundry. With little more than some clothing and your toothbrush, you are all set to go.

The basic cost is $600/mo. for one person. An additional person costs $350/mo more. That's it.

I have special dietary needs. What can I do?

Let us know ahead of time. In many cases, your needs can be accomodated at no additional cost.

What about beer, liquor, ...?

Local and international beer, wine, hard liquor are available in the restaurant at local prices

Are there meal options?

Any menu item from the restaurant is available. It will cost the menu price minus a discount if it is a replacement for your regular meal.

Can I take a Spanish class, go on a tour, ...?

You can sign up for any of our regular events which include day trips, classes, other excursions.

I need to see a dentist, doctor, barber, massage therapist, ... . What are my options?

We can recommend many services that are available either locally or in Estelí, arrange appointments and transportation for you.

How can I meet some locals and possibly practice my Spanish?

You will find most Nicaraguans to be open and friendly. We offer free movies for locals one night a week. Showing up at the movie and offering to buy a beer, a pop or a bag of popcorn for a local would be a good way to get to know people.
