Day Trips
There are an assortment of interesting places to visit in the north of Nicaragua that make excellent day trips. Tourist density is much lower than in areas such as Granada and San Juan del Sur so you are more likely to see what it is really like in Nicaragua than in those areas. You are also more likely to find some good deals on locally made products.
Birding
There are many species of birds in the Tisey preserve. Birding activities can be self-directed or with a guide. Bi-lingual (English-Spanish) guides are generally available.
Spanish Classes
We can arrange intensive Spanish classes for individuals and small groups. Classes are normally four-hours per day with morning or afternoon sessions available.
Prices are nominal (around $100/week) depending on whether they are on-site or in Estelí and number of students.
